Liam

Duke Liam is a dark bay Thoroughbred.  Born in Florida in1987, Liam held a career as a racehorse, winning four races.  He retired to Ryerss in September 2005, along with his friends Star and Ruler.  He is quite fond of Star and her friend Mariah.

Magic

Black Magic is a Mustang.  He stands 14.2 hands.  Born in Oregon in 1984, Magic was an all-around English riding horse.  He retired to Ryerss in April 2002 and spends his days with Amber.

Mariah

Mariah is  a brown dun Kentucky Mountain Gaited Saddle horse with a black mane and tail.  She stands 16.1 hands and is very affectionate once she gets to know and trust someone.  An old tongue injury is a reminder of the cruelty she endured from an abusive former owner.  Retiring to Ryerss in August 2006 with Alado and Aramis, Mariah likes to roam the pastures with her friend, Star.

Matisse

Matisse is a black Westphalen.  He stands 17 hands.  He was an excellent upper level dressage horse, competing mainly in Fourth Level through Intermediare I.  A member of the barn herd, Matisse loves people and is very popular with the visitors.  Born in 1983, he retired to Ryerss in January 2005.
