Solo is a 24 year old Dutch Gelderlander standing a very big 16.1 hands high. Solo is solid black with some white on his legs and face. Prior ro retirement Solo began his life in Lincolnshire, United Kingdom. In the UK, Solo had been trained as a driving horse by a member of the Queen's regiment troop. Solo then came to the US in 2014. He continued his work as a member of an all Gelderlander four in hand team, as well as the lead horse in a unicorn configuration. This team was shown successfully for many years in the four in hand coaching, and unicorn classes of the Devon Horse Show and the Royal Winter Fair Horse Show in Toronto, Canada. Solo retired to Ryerss Farm on December 30th 2022.
