25 Years Old

Jack is a quarter horse who is 25 years old. He was 11 years old when he was purchased from a horse trader who had picked him up at auction. At the time he had cuts and scars on his legs from barbed wire fencing which is commonly used out west.

Until his retirement at Ryerss he was owned by a couple who had ridden him on the trails for many years. Jack's owners became unable to continue caring for their farm and were no longer able to ride. It became time for both Jack and them to retire.
