ADMISSIONS TO RYERSS FARM

Ryerss Farm's reputation for quality far exceeds its resources. We welcome you to visit and register your horse for Ryerss. Because the farm is lovely and the staff is so caring, there is sometimes a waiting list to get into Ryerss, but we will work with you to keep you updated. A horse may be added to the list at any age, but will not be eligible for admittance until he or she is at least 20 years old.

To add your horse's name to our waiting list, click below to complete the Waitlist Application online.

Once the horse is accepted for placement, Ryerss will send the owner a complete packet of required information, including the Requirements at Time of Admission form (linked below for reference). This is typically sent by email, though it can be mailed upon request.

The owner will complete the form and return it to Ryerss Farm for Aged Equines at 1710 Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA 19465, or to info@ryerssfarm.org. Our veterinarian will review the medical paperwork prior to admission.

Once the paperwork is submitted, the owner will contact Ryerss to schedule a time to bring the horse to the farm. The owner is responsible for transporting the horse to Ryerss Farm, at which point ownership will be transferred to Ryerss Farm.

The Entrance Fee is $10,000.00, payable by personal check or bank draft. If you use a credit card, a $300 convenience fee will be added.
