Born in 2004, Henri is a charming 14.2-hand Haflinger with a heart as sturdy as his build. He joins the sanctuary after a long and meaningful career as a therapeutic lesson horse. When his previous facility closed its doors, leaving him without a home, his owner reached out to ensure he would receive the specialized care and peaceful environment he deserves.

Having spent his life helping others, Henri is now settling into a slower pace. He brings with him the patient, steady temperament that Haflingers are famous for, and he is already becoming a fast favorite among those who appreciate a kind and gentle soul. We are honored to provide this hardworking rescue with a permanent place to rest and enjoy his golden years.
