WAYS TO SUPPORT
RYERSS fARM
Anne Waln Ryerss' legacy accounts for only a small fraction of the cost required to provide quality care for our residents. In addition to food and shelter, a horse must have its hooves trimmed regularly to prevent soreness and injury. He must also receive a routine dental check-up and inoculations. And, like humans, an occasional illness or injury requires a doctor's visit. All this, combined with the special medications that are necessary for some of our residents, adds up to an average of approximately $8,400.00 per year per equine.
The folks at Ryerss do what they can to keep the costs down. We grow our own grain, hay, and straw on site. Since no public funds are received, Ryerss Farm relies on the generous support of caring individuals and groups.

There are several ways to support the residents of Ryerss Farm with a healthy and peaceful retirement. Simply enter your contact information, choose your donation amount, and select the frequency—all in just a few clicks. Every donation, regardless of size, makes a difference!

Horse Pedicure $50
Did you know horses need their hooves trimmed every 6-8 weeks? Treat your favorite horse to a Ryerss pedicure!

Ryerss horses need a dental visit once a year. Sponsor a dental visit for your favorite horse at Ryerss and give the gift of a healthy smile!
Greener Pastures Plate $100
Buy a plate for an animal who has "Gone to Greener Pastures."

Buy a plate for our memory board.
Memory Plate $300
Donate a brass plate in memory or honor of a friend or animal.

Horse Sponsor $500/yr
For just $500 a year, you can sponsor one of our residents, covering their essential care and supplies. We also offer a convenient monthly payment plan of $42/month.

All sponsors will receive a picture, a certificate, and a biography of their retiree. You will be able to schedule private time, during regular visiting hours, to groom and get to know your horse.
Stop by the farm and choose a horse you would like to sponsor, or read more about our residents online. Once you have selected a horse, you can submit your request and payment online. Alternatively, you can complete our Sponsorship Form and send it to Ryerss Farm with your payment.

Stall Endowment $3,000
A brass plaque with your loved one’s name will be placed on the door of one of the stalls.​

Tree Sponsorship $3,000
A plaque with the name you designate will be placed on one of our pasture trees.
