Meet:

Criss

Criss, registered name Criss Cross, retired to Ryerss Farm for Aged Equines on July 26, 2021. He is a flea-bitten gray Thoroughbred gelding, who stands at 15.3 hands high. Criss was born on May 6, 2000, and was started as a racehorse, but it was not a career for him. He then became a lesson horse for a few years and was a favorite of the children because he was quiet, tolerant, and smooth gaited. His previous owner then purchased him in 2010. She continued taking lessons on him and discovered he loved to jump. After many years together he would respond to her smallest of signals, and they enjoyed trail rides with friends. He is a gentle, sweet horse and already making friends at the farm.
