Meika’s Maude, better known as “Meika,” is a 13.3 hands Haflinger. She is a chestnut mare with a golden mane and tail. Meika was born in April of 1999 and retired to Ryerss Farm on August 1, 2025, along with her daughter Misty and her friends Strawberry, Canda and Lightning. Prior to retirement, she was a therapy horse for mentally challenged adults and children in Tennessee and considered the herd leader before she gave birth to Misty. She is a great mother, and she has had the unusual privilege of spending her whole life with her daughter, Misty, her forever baby.
