Spring Events at Ryerss Farm

Spring is just about here, and this upcoming season is the perfect time to visit Ryerss Farm and all our beautiful residents! We also have plenty of exciting, family-friendly events to participate in. Proceeds from our events support our mission here at Ryerss Farm to provide a new life for rescued and retired horses. As the largest non-profit horse sanctuary in the United States, we provide a haven for equines of all breeds, sizes, and walks of life. Read on to learn more about our upcoming events, and mark your calendars. We will see you there!

Easter Egg Hunt

When: Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Where: Ryerss Farm for Aged Equines, 1710 Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA 19465

Hop on over and join us for the Ryerss Easter Egg Hunt on April 1st! This event is the perfect opportunity to spend time with family, friends, and the Ryerss community while celebrating the holiday. Not only will there be eggs to hunt and our lovely residents to visit, but Ryerss will also be getting a special visit from the Easter Bunny, provided by Birthday Buddies, Inc. Don’t forget to take pictures! Pre-registration is required, so be sure to sign up by contacting us at (610) 469-0533 or stopping by the Gift Shop any day before the event. Bingo Night

When: Friday, April 21, 2023 - Doors open at 5:00 PM/Bingo starts at 7:00 PM

Where: State Street Entertainment Hall, 799 N State St, Pottstown, PA 19464


Gather your family and friends, and join us for Bingo Night at State Street Entertainment Hall! State Street’s Bingo program helps fund their foundation's charitable giving efforts. Transplant Alliance Foundation uses 100% of the proceeds from bingo. Their profits are donated to other charities or granted directly to organ transplant patients and donor families. The Ryerss Bingo Event on April 21st will raise funds for both Transplant Alliance Foundation & Ryerss Farm. In addition to the $3,000 jackpot, there will be food, dessert, and luxury items available for participants. We are excited to share this new event with the Ryerss community and State Street Entertainment Hall. Doors Open @ 5 pm, early birds start at 6:45 pm, bingo Starts @ 7:00 pm, and no entry after 7:15 pm. Get your tickets and additional details here!

Ryerss Run For the Horses

When: Saturday, April 22, 2023 - Registration at 12:00 PM, Race begins at 1:00 PM

Where: Ryerss Farm for Aged Equines, 1710 Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA 19465


It’s almost time to run for the horses! Join us Saturday, April 22nd, and participate in the 10k run, 5k run, or 1-mile walk, benefiting Ryerss Farm’s retired and rescued horses. Bring yourself, friends, or family to the farm for a beautiful day spent with the community. Everyone is welcome, and the horses of Ryerss Farm will be available to visit! You can also swing by our gift shop and purchase some treats for the horses and check out our awesome Ryerss merchandise. FREE t-shirts will be provided to those who pre-register by noon on April 15th! The Event begins at 1:00 pm and is rain or shine. Be sure to pre-register and learn more here and arrive by 12 PM on race day if you are registering the day of.

Family Fun Day

When: Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM (Rain date June 18, 2023)

Saturday, June 17th, is our annual Family Fun Day at Ryerss Farm! This event is always a blast, with plenty of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. In addition to paying your favorite Ryerss equines a visit, there will be crafts, games, pony rides, prizes, hay rides, and even a moon bounce! Family Fun Day is the perfect way to kick off the summer for a fantastic cause. For more information, visit our website! Please note the rain date for this event is June 18th.
