Experience the magic of Ryerss Farm this spring and summer by joining us for unforgettable events! Whether you’re participating in the thrilling Run for the Horses, celebrating the season at our family-friendly Easter Egg Hunt, or making memories at Summer Camp, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Each gathering is a unique opportunity to spend time with our cherished residents, soak in the farm’s welcoming atmosphere, and directly support our mission. Your participation helps us provide the best care possible for our retired and rescued horses. Explore our upcoming events and get ready for seasons of fun!
Easter Egg Hunt
Date: Sunday, April 12th, from 10 AM to 12:30 PM
Location: Ryerss Farm, 1710 Ridge Rd, Pottstown, PA 19465
Join us for an EGG-citing adventure at our Easter Egg Hunt! Hunt for eggs, spend time with our residents, and explore our gift shop. The event will be held inside the barn, rain or shine! Some eggs in each age group will have coupons for special prizes. Don't miss the chance to have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny, courtesy of Birthday Buddies, Inc. Plus, try your luck with our Raffle Basket – just $5 a chance!
Registration for the egg hunt is now closed, and there will be no day-of registration. Attendance is FREE, so bring the whole family for a fun-filled day!
Age Groups & Times:
2-3 years old: 10:00-10:30 am
4-6 years old: 11:00-11:30 am
7+ years old: 12:00-12:30 pm
Check-in: Times vary based on your child's egg hunt age group. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled start time.

Run for the Horses
Date: Saturday, April 18th, at 1 PM
Location: Ryerss Farm
Lace up your sneakers and join us for our 14th Annual Ryerss Run for the Horses! There will be a 10K run, a 5K run, and a 1-mile walk on a cross-country course at the farm. Experience our 10K course—no need to repeat the 5K loop! The race will begin at 1:00 PM sharp. Rain or shine!
Enjoy a post-race party celebration with music and a beer garden (for 21+), spend time with our residents, and explore our gift shop. All ages are welcome!
Pre-register by noon on Wednesday, April 15th, for $40, or register on race day at 12:00 PM for $45. If you pre-register, you will receive a FREE t-shirt! You can register online or print out our registration form, fill it out, and mail it to Ryerss Farm with a check.

Summer Camp
Dates:
Ages 5-9: Monday, June 22nd - Friday, June 26th
Ages 10-15: Monday, August 3rd - Friday, August 7th
Time: 9 AM to 3 PM
Location: Ryerss Farm
This is for every horse-loving, farm-living, adventure-seeking child! Each child will learn what a day and life on Ryerss Farm is all about. Each day will focus on the specific daily needs and care of Ryerss' special farm residents, as well as daily farm chores. Activities include working with the horses, hayrides, field and crop walks, and fun crafts.
The educational and exciting curriculum has been created by an experienced teacher and summer camp director. All staff have clearances and PA State Police Criminal background checks. The day will be filled with laughter and friendships.
Cost & Details:
The cost for the camp week is $275 per child.
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration.
We do not offer early drop-off or babysitting services.
Campers should bring lunch, snacks, and a refillable water bottle.
Campers are required to have safe barn boots or shoes and comfortable sneakers or boots for hiking.
Campers should bring sunscreen and bug/tick spray.

If you can’t attend our events but still want to make a difference, consider donating to ensure our residents enjoy a healthy retirement! You can sponsor a resident, donate a pedicure or memory plate, sponsor a dental visit, or simply donate to sustain the farm.
