A Day of Family Fun at Ryerss Farm

Ryerss Farm for Aged Equines wants to thank our amazing supporters for another exceptional Family Fun Day this year! On our farm, our senior horses, aged 20 and above, enjoy peaceful days wandering the pastures, feeling the sun's warmth, and interacting with you, our visitors! And, what better way to say hello to our horses and support our mission than at our Family Fun Day event?

On June 17th, 2023, we were thrilled to have guests join us for a day filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories on our farm in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Our annual Family Fun Day event is designed to bring families together for a day of excitement and bonding on our farm. Whether a parent, child, grandparent, or sibling, there was something for everyone to enjoy! Admission was also free so that anyone could enjoy the exhilarating environment of the farm. Tickets for each activity were available for purchase on our website, and all profits went straight back to caring for our equine companions here on the farm. Our senior horses were more than happy to welcome new faces into their homes to tour the pastures and visit.

Our event featured various activities and entertainment options suitable for all ages. From pony rides to hayrides, there was no shortage of fun for the little ones. We bounced our hearts out on the moon bounce, challenged our friends and family members to some friendly carnival-style games with prizes, and let our creativity flow at the arts and crafts stations. There was no limit to the adventures and memories of this day!

We understand the importance of family connections and want to create an atmosphere that encourages quality time and shared experiences. Our annual Family Fun Day provides the perfect opportunity to disconnect from our modern digital world and reconnect with our loved ones. It was uplifting to step away from our usual daily routine and immerse ourselves in the environment and mission of Ryerss Farm.

Additionally, it was a great way to meet some of our new senior horses if you haven’t stopped by the farm in a while! Meet our newest residents on our website and learn more about their life stories before settling on the farm.

Visitors are welcome to stop by the farm and see the horses between 10 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. 365 days a year! Group tours can be arranged by calling the office in advance at (866) 469-0507 as well.
