Ryerss Farm for Aged Equines gratefully accepts help in different ways. You can, of course, volunteer your time at Ryerss Farm. You can also underwrite a stall (a great way to honor or memorialize a loved one). Lastly, you can sponsor a horse for just $30 a month! Sponsoring a horse is a great way to give back to Ryerss and to have some fun.

Why Sponsor a Horse?

When Ryerss Farm takes in a horse, all of the financial responsibility of the horse falls upon us. The costs of feeding, housing, and caring for our 80 residents is a substantial amount. When you sponsor a horse, you are helping to offset the costs of caring for all of our horses. You can purchase a sponsorship for someone as a holiday gift or birthday gift, or in memory of a loved one. Some sponsors include families, school classes, scout troops, clubs, and individuals who want to enjoy the experience of helping a horse.

When you become a sponsor of one retiree, you are helping us defray costs for all our residents. We are very grateful for our sponsors and want we encourage them to visit their retiree frequently and see the impact they are having. Becoming a sponsor is quite easy too!

How do you Sponsor a Horse?

Applying for a sponsorship is easy! It’s just a few quick steps. First, you could either visit the Farm or check out the Meet Our Horse section on our website to select a horse to sponsor. Second, visit the volunteer page on our website and print out the application! Finally, drop off or send in your completed form with payment made out to Ryerss Farm for Aged Equines, 1710 Ridge Road Pottstown, PA, 19465. All donations are tax-deductible because we are a 501c(3) charitable organization.

Other Ways to Help

Ryerss Farm also has an Amazon Smile account that individuals can select when purchasing their own items on Amazon, and 0.5% of the profits will be donated to Ryerss Farm.
